My Place Hotels names VP of franchise development

My Place Hotels of America has promoted Eric Myers to senior vice president of franchise development.

In his new role, Myers will lead the advancement of franchise growth initiatives while deepening engagement across The Rivett Organization, reinforcing alignment between franchise development, construction and operational teams. He will work closely with The Rivett Organization’s newly appointed chief development officer, Brian Quinn, to implement the platform’s broader strategic development objectives.

Myers joined The Rivett Organization in 2015 as vice president of development. In 2018, he transitioned into franchise development, where he has since become a key contributor to the growth of the My Place brand.

“Eric has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to serve our franchisees while contributing meaningfully to the growth of the brand,” said Ryan Rivett, co-founder and CEO of My Place Hotels. “His experience as an owner and developer has been additive across numerous projects and relationships, and his leadership has helped strengthen the foundation of our franchise development platform.”

“I’m looking forward to working closely with Brian and the broader team to execute on our growth objectives,” Myers said. “What’s always set this brand apart is the strength of our franchisee relationships, and continuing to build on those will remain at the center of everything we do.”
