Brian Quinn has joined The Rivett Organization as chief development officer (CDO), a newly created leadership role responsible for advancing a unified growth strategy across its vertically integrated ecosystem of affiliated companies, led by its flagship brand, My Place Hotels of America.
As CDO, Quinn will advance growth initiatives across The Rivett Organization’s affiliated companies, spanning development, construction and management, while overseeing franchise expansion and development for My Place Hotels.
“We have always been fortunate to align our growth with the right opportunities at the right time,” said Ryan Rivett, founder, president & CEO of The Rivett Organization and My Place Hotels. “Brian brings the experience, the relationships, and the discipline this moment requires, and I’m excited to have him leading growth across the entire organization. With Brian on board, we have a real opportunity to accelerate what we’ve built and shape what comes next.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Quinn has led transformational growth across large-scale, multi-platform organizations. He has held senior leadership roles at IHG, Hilton, Choice Hotels and Sonesta International Hotels Corporation, where he was chief development officer. He has also served as secretary/treasurer of the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation and currently advises Penn State’s School of Hospitality Management.
“Extended stay continues to outperform the broader hotel industry. It is a model where the guest, the employee, and the owner all win when it’s executed with discipline,” said Quinn. “What’s rare is having both — a brand with real momentum in extended-stay, and a platform that can support every stage of growth from development through management. That’s a foundation to grow with intention and bring real value to franchisees in the years ahead.”
Currently, My Place Hotels has an established presence across 32 states and over 125 hotels in the pipeline.
