Loews Hotels & Co has appointed Brian Johnson as area managing director of its Arlington hotel collection.
Johnson brings more than 24 years of experience with Loews Hotels & Co, most recently serving as managing director of Loews Kansas City Hotel, where he led the property’s opening. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at Loews Hollywood Hotel, Loews Coronado Bay Resort, Lake Las Vegas Resort and Universal Orlando Resort.
Johnson will oversee operations at Live! by Loews – Arlington and Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, while leading the pre-opening efforts for Americana by Loews Hotels, the company’s newest hotel currently under development in Arlington, Texas. He will also continue to oversee Loews Kansas City Hotel.
Loews Hotels Arlington Collection includes the 300-room Live! by Loews – Arlington, connected by skybridge to the 888-room Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center. Together, the properties offer more than 300,000 square feet of meeting and event space, ten dining concepts and resort-style amenities with walkable access to Arlington’s Entertainment District, including AT&T Stadium—home to the Dallas Cowboys, Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium, the National Medal of Honor Museum and more.
With the addition of Americana by Loews, Loews Hotels will have a guest room count of 1,695 and nearly 385,000 square feet of meeting space in Arlington.
