YOTEL will open YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit, its first hotel in Thailand, next month. The 250-key property is in the Cloud 11 development in Bangkok’s South Sukhumvit district. It is the brand’s 24th hotel, its fourth in Asia and the first YOTEL in Asia to join Select by Hilton.
Earlier this year, in March, Hilton entered into an exclusive agreement with YOTEL, the tech-forward hotel brand that launched its first airport hotel at London Gatwick in 2007 through a design concept that riffed off of airplane cabins. The brand features compact room design and automated luggage storage systems. Under the agreement, YOTEL became the first brand within the newly established Select by Hilton.
“Bangkok is not only one of the world’s most iconic tourist cities; it is also a vibrant business hub that is attracting entrepreneurs and digital nomads from around the globe,” said Phil Andreopoulos, CEO of YOTEL. “Cloud 11 is at the heart of Thailand’s growing creative economy and a new investment landmark for the entire country. This makes it the perfect location for the city’s first YOTEL. Our brand has always been about challenging traditional hospitality with intuitively designed spaces, smart experiences and rooms engineered to deliver the best sleep. YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit not only gives us the opportunity to introduce our brand to a new destination, but also to become part of a community that is helping to shape its future.”
“YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit will be a real game-changer for Thailand’s hotel sector,” said Mike Smith, general manager of YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit. “Our unique location within Cloud 11, combined with fast connectivity, 24-7 services and sleek design, will intuitively meet the needs of today’s travellers who crave complete convenience. My team and I are excited to welcome guests to Bangkok from 15th October.”
Cloud 11 opened in July 2026 with an investment of more than THB 20 billion. The hotel is the first to open there.
The hotel has an outdoor pool, a gym and Komyuniti, an all-day dining and co-working space. Fatty’s, a rooftop bar and restaurant, opens in November 2026. A 300-meter skywalk links the hotel to the BTS Skytrain.
The Hilton agreement
YOTEL signed an exclusive agreement with Hilton in March 2026 and is the first brand in the newly established Select by Hilton. Its properties will soon be bookable through Hilton’s channels and open to nearly 250 million Hilton Honors members. Members can earn and redeem points at YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit.
The agreement is not an outright acquisition. Like Hilton’s 2024 partnership with AutoCamp and its tie-up with SLH, it involves no acquisition of intellectual property or assets.
YOTEL operates 23 hotels across 10 countries and aims to more than triple its portfolio in the coming years.
