Wyndham Hotels & Resorts opened Vienna House by Wyndham Istanbul Bahçelievler, introducing the Vienna House brand to Turkey. The opening brings Wyndham’s portfolio in the country to 12 brands. Wyndham is the largest international hotel franchisor in Turkiye by number of hotels, with approximately 140 properties operating under its brands.
The hotel is open under a franchise agreement with ARES İstanbul tourism, a Wyndham franchisee. Istanbul attracted nearly 20 million international visitors last year, making it one of the world’s 10 most visited cities. The opening reflects Wyndham’s strategy of bringing brands to high-growth markets and responding to changing traveler preferences.

The hotel is on Istanbul’s European side. It is near Istanbul Airport, the Istanbul Expo Centre and the business and commercial districts around the Basin Ekspres corridor. It has 114 guest rooms, including Superior and Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, two accessible rooms and 65-square-meter Vienna Suites with separate living areas.
Facilities include a meeting room for up to 30 guests, a fitness center and a spa with a Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and seven treatment rooms. The Vienna Restaurant serves international cuisine and seats up to 130 guests.
The Vienna House by Wyndham portfolio includes hotels in European cities such as Berlin and Amsterdam. The brand recently opened a property in Vietnam, its first outside Europe.
ARES İstanbul tourism entered a franchise relationship with Wyndham in 2019 with La Quinta by Wyndham Istanbul Güneşli, the first La Quinta hotel outside the Americas. The company also owns and operates Days Inn by Wyndham Istanbul Bomonti.

Wyndham has approximately 140 hotels in Türkiye, including more than 40 in Istanbul, across economy, midscale, upscale and lifestyle segments. About 40 additional properties are in development.
