Omni Hotels & Resorts announced development is progressing on the Omni Raleigh Hotel, a 29-story, 600-room property scheduled to open in late 2028. The hotel will be situated between the Raleigh Convention Center and the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.
The property will include a 20,000-square-foot ballroom and 61,000 square feet of meeting space. Food and beverage outlets will include North Carolina’s first Bob’s Steak & Chop House, a rooftop pool and adjacent all-day dining restaurant, a sports bar with a golf simulator and a coffee shop by Raleigh-based Peter Millar featuring a custom roast from Black & White Coffee Roasters. The fitness center will offer hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, cold plunges, red light recovery tables and compression pods.
Construction is led by Brasfield & Gorrie. Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio, LLC is serving as project architect and Waldrop + Nichols Studio is handling interiors. Jeffrey Beers International is designing Bob’s Steak & Chop House and the sports bar.
