The Peninsula Hong Kong has started a two-phase project that will transform all 297 of its guestrooms.
The initiative will be confined to each of the hotel’s buildings separately to keep disturbance to guests at a minimum. The first phase focuses on rooms in The Peninsula Tower, which will reopen in August. Refurbished guestrooms in the Original Building will debut in early 2013.
Conceived by The Peninsula Hotels in-house design team, the enhanced rooms will boast a bespoke luxury residential feel with an emphasis on classic modernity, simplicity and chic elegance similar to the design touches and practicality in today’s luxury yachts, cars and private jets.
The Peninsula Hong Kong also plans to unveil revolutionary in-room technology later this year.
