InterContinental Hong Kong has unveiled its newly redesigned harborview function rooms.
The new design picks up themes used in last year’s renovation of the InterContinental Ballroom. Woods Bagot Hong Kong studio worked on both projects.
The carpeting in the new function rooms is similar to the carpeting in the new ballroom, with circular motifs. The function rooms have a warm palette of light colors that aren’t as saturated as their counterparts in the ballroom.
The view over Victoria Harbour is reflected in bronze mirrored glass on the ceiling and side walls near the windows. Panels of Champagne-colored fabric cover some of the walls.
