What’s Hot: Christchurch hotel prepares to reopen

More than two years after Christchurch, New Zealand, was struck with a devastating earthquake, Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch is preparing to open its doors again.

The 171-key hotel will reopen on May 1. It has been closed to the public since the earthquake. Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch occupies 11 floors of the Pacific Tower building, which has now been repaired.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome guests back,” says Eric Teng, Rendezvous Hospitality Group CEO. “Christchurch is on track to be one of the best small cities in the world and we are pleased to be part of that.”
