The Hotel Omni Mont-Royal in Montreal has debuted the Alice Bar.
“Alice,” a bronze female statue that’s been at the hotel since its opening in 1999, is now at the entrance to the bar.
Alexandra Champalimaud designed the space with a nod to the 1970s. The bar features a bronze and crystal chandelier, plush velvet seating, trumpet-base tables and travertine accents.
The menu includes fine wines by the glass and small bites such as charcuterie, crab cakes, and calamari, along with cocktails. The bar’s signature beverage is the Alice, made with vodka, crème de cassis, cranberry and lemon. The Latté Martini is a creamy beverage with a shot of espresso, while the Fraises Basilic puts a spicy twist on the classic fruit cocktail.
