Westgate Resorts gives free stays to US veterans

On Wednesday, Westgate Resorts, Orlando, Florida, announced a special offer for U.S. military veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and the larger War on Terror.

Westgate is giving away 1,000 two night stays at their Orlando-area resorts. To qualify, veterans just have to call in after 9 a.m. EDT on October 11 and the first 1,000 will receive one of the complimentary stays.

“Having served in the armed forces myself, I am extremely proud of the great American tradition of service to our country,” said David Siegel, Westgate Resorts founder and CEO. “I consider it a privilege to provide 1,000 complimentary vacations to these deserving American heroes.”

Westgate Resorts is a subsidiary of the privately held real estate development firm Central Florida Investments Inc.
