Hilton has announced the appointment of Scott Berger as general manager of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.
A hospitality leader with more than two decades of global luxury experience, Berger most recently served as hotel manager of the newly opened Peninsula London. Prior to this, he served at several properties in Los Angeles, including a regional general manager role in which he oversaw the West Coast portfolio for EOS Hospitality.
Berger began his career at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, where he spent 15 years developing a foundation in operations and guest experience, rising from assistant front office manager to hotel manager.
“It is an honor to join Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills at such an exciting moment in the property’s evolution,” said Berger. “I’m inspired by the opportunity to build on the hotel’s legacy while introducing new energy through our current culinary innovation. As Los Angeles continues to capture global attention in the years ahead, I look forward to leading a team that delivers truly memorable experiences for every guest.”
“Scott is a proven leader with a deep commitment to service and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences,” said Laura Schofeld, area vice president, Hilton. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills as we continue to elevate the hotel’s position as a premier luxury destination in Los Angeles.”
Berger previously held leadership roles in Beverly Hills civic organizations, including Chair of the Beverly Hills CVB (2023-24) and Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board Member (2020-24) and served as an active member of the Beverly Hills Rotary.
