NEW YORK CITY The five W Hotels of New York City are marking the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II on Saturday with a contest to reenact the famous image of a sailor and a nurse kissing in Times Square.
The hotels are challenging couples to reenact the photo, which became an iconic symbol of the end of the war, in front of all five Ws on Saturday. The first couple to take all five pictures and post them on Facebook will win a free night at W New York-Times Square.
The other participating hotels are W New York, W New York-Union Square, W New York-Downtown and W Hoboken.
