Uber exec Jeff Moore joins Hilton as executive VP and CTO

Uber executive Jeff Moore will join Hilton as executive VP and chief technology officer.

Moore will start on October 26, reporting to Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, as a member of Hilton’s Executive Committee. At Uber, Moore served as VP of software engineering and led a global organization of 2,500 engineers supporting Uber Eats, Uber for Business, Uber for Merchant, Uber Direct and Uber Courier, Uber Advertising, Growth and Marketing, Uber for Business and Applied AI.

Moore brings more than 20 years of experience leading technology, engineering, product and operations organizations at global scale. Before Uber, Moore held a series of leadership roles at Amazon.com. He was a founding leader within Fulfillment by Amazon and later led engineering and product organizations supporting Amazon’s device portfolio, including Kindle, Fire TV, Fire Tablet and Echo/Alexa products. Earlier in his career, he worked at Anheuser-Busch in software engineering and operations leadership roles. He holds three issued U.S. patents and serves on the board of Edmund Optics.
