NEW DELHI Ginger Hotels, the budget brand from Indian Hotels Co. Ltd., is planning to add seven hotels totaling 1,000 guestrooms to its portfolio over the next 18 months.
Upcoming Ginger projects are slated for Bangalore, Tirupur, Indore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jaipur and Amristar. Three of the projects are expected to open before the end of the year, Business Standard reports. The company is further considering opening Ginger Hotels in the southern India cities of Cochin and Coimbatore.
Ginger currently has 24 properties and 2,317 guestrooms open across India.
