Switzerland management group announces 5 upcoming hotel projects

ZUG, SWITZERLAND Lifestyle Hospitality & Entertainment Management AG, a two-year-old Switzerland-based group with a single property in Bonn, announces five more hotel projects to be developed over the next three years.

New hotels are planned in Hamburg, Zürich, Mallorca, Laos and Thailand. Residential projects are also slated for Düsseldorf and Cologne. The nascent company is ambitiously launching six brands for the seven developments—Kameha Grand Hotels, Kameha Resorts, Kameha Residences, K-Star Hotels, K-Star Residences and Kameha Suites.

Lifestyle Hospitality’s projects will be based on four pillars: design, art and architecture as a holistic concept; cordial service; sustainability and technology; and recreation and celebration. “Due to this unique concept, we inspire guests from all over the world,” says CEO Carsten Rath. “In addition, investors and owners are also approaching us to launch new projects with us. We are proud that we are able to present and also to implement such an ambitious expansion plan only one year after the opening of the Kameha Grand Bonn.”

Its only existing hotel, the 253-key Kameha Grand Bonn, opened in November 2009 along the Rhine River. The hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. In 2013, 260-key Kameha Grand Zurich is scheduled to open in Zurich Glattpark, a newly developed district of the Switzerland metropolis. With an event hall for up to 1,500 guests and a congress area with premises for up to 200 participants, Kameha Grand Zurich will appeal mainly to business travelers. However, the hotel will also offer a spa, sauna, fitness center, two bars, lounges and a restaurant.

The Kameha Resorts brand is scheduled to debut in 2013 with a property in Phuket, Thailand. Kameha Resort Andaman will include a cinema, a library, restaurants, beach bars and leisure activities like diving. Due to a direct access to some of the best diving areas in the world, diving ranks first at the Kameha Resort Andaman.

Also joining the resort brand will be Kameha Resort Luang Prabang, a 50-key medical and health spa resort in northern Laos. Surrounded by mountains and temples, the resort is 20 minutes from Luang Prabang city center.

K-Star Hotels is a modern concept connecting urban flair with a sexy and ecological sustainability. The first K-Star project is planned in Hamburg in cooperation with RIMC International Hotel Resort Management & Consulting GmbH.

Kameha Suites will make its debut in Frankfurt.

The first Kameha Residences project will debut in Düsseldorf next year. The 57-key Kameha Residence Dusseldorf will be situated directly at the Rhine promenade and will include hotel-style services. The project is expected to cost about €70 million.

K-Star is the design brand of Lifestyle Hospitality. The first K-Star Residence, being developed in Cologne, is expected to open next year with 32 apartments ranging from 57 to 80 sq. m, plus three penthouses with up to 330 sq. m floor area and a terrace with views of the Cologne Cathedral. The property is owned by Lebenstraum Gesellschaft Für Moderndes Wohnen MBH.
