Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort names resort manager

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort, has announced the appointment of Simon Winchester as resort manager, following his six-year tenure overseeing the resort’s food and beverage program as executive assistant manager of food & beverage.

Since joining Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort in 2020, Winchester has managed a food and beverage collection encompassing six dining venues, retail concepts, private dining experiences and in-villa culinary programming.

“As I step into this new role, I’m honored to continue my journey at Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort alongside an extraordinary team,” shares Winchester. “What makes this resort truly exceptional is the passion our colleagues bring to every guest experience. I’m excited to build on that foundation by creating moments that feel authentic, effortless, and deeply connected to the spirit of Saint Lucia.”

Before Sugar Beach, Winchester served as executive chef & director of food and beverage at Six Senses Kaplankaya near Bodrum, Turkey, and prior to that, as executive chef at Mondrian Doha.
