Stonebridge adds dual-branded Marriott Atlanta Midtown hotel to portfolio

Stonebridge has added the dual-branded Courtyard by Marriott and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown to its managed portfolio of hotels and resorts.

Built in 2021, the 282-room property is situated in the heart of Midtown Atlanta’s cultural scene, known for its dining, nightlife, arts and experiences. The hotel sits across the street from the Fox Theatre, a National Historic Landmark and one of Atlanta’s premier destinations for live entertainment, providing a destination for theatergoers, concert attendees, and travelers and locals to immerse themselves in the Midtown cultural scene.

“This dual-branded property represents a strong addition to our portfolio and further expands our presence in one of the country’s most dynamic urban markets,” said Rob Smith, CEO of Stonebridge. “I am honored that an existing partner has chosen to expand our relationship and entrust us with another one of their hotels. I am confident we can build upon our proven track record of delivering positive revenue results and elevated guest experiences with this exciting new addition.”

One key opportunity the company has identified is expanding and elevating the property’s dining experience, leveraging the expertise of the Stonebridge Food & Beverage division.

Stonebridge plans to maximize the property’s signature dining experience, The Ponce Room Bar & Kitchen, highlighting its indoor and patio seating, Southern-inspired menu, signature hospitality, craft cocktail selection and prime location for pre- and post-theater dining to cement it as a social gathering spot in the neighborhood’s cultural scene.

Additionally, hotel guests will see enhancements at the property’s breakfast locations, with expanded menu options planned for the Elements RISE breakfast experience, complementing the on-site Starbucks and Courtyard Bistro locations.

Stonebridge will maximize these features and others, including the property’s fitness center and more than 11,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, to drive revenue and strengthen the property’s competitive position within the Atlanta market, through marketing, sales and revenue management strategies developed by the company’s in-house commercial team.
