SHENZHEN, CHINA China’s largest residential real estate developer, China Vanke Co. Ltd., has joined with Solís Hotels & Resorts to launch the luxury brand in the country.
The 200-key Solís Vanke Center, Shenzhen, will feature an international conference center, which will open in June. The hotel portion of the development will debut in the second quarter of 2012.
A flagship hotel for the group, Solís Vanke Center is designed by Steven Holl Architects.
Vanke Center is located in Yantian, a popular seashore resort area proximate to the 1,800-m Dameisha Beach, theme parks, golf courses, business and shopping centers, as well as easy access to Hong Kong and Shenzhen International Airport.
Directly connected to the hotel is the 8,000-sq.-m Conference and Exhibition Center, a ballroom of 1,100 sq. m, an auditorium seating 469, two video-conferencing rooms and seven meeting rooms.
