Sofitel expands De-Light F&B offerings

Sofitel Luxury Hotels has announced the expansion of its French-inspired, wellness-focused De-Light menus, originally launched in winter 2011, to properties in Montreal, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Miami, Minneapolis and Washington, D.C.

Developed by Thalassa Sea & Spa, De-Light menu items — which are part of restaurant, banquet and room service menus — emphasize fresh, whole ingredients and the relationship between food and culture. New menu items include green-tea-infused shrimp (320 calories per serving), creamed peas with truffle essence (104 calories per serving) and mint and berry compote (68 calories per serving).

Beginning this fall, Sofitel chefs will also host dedicated De-Light cooking demonstrations to educate guests about healthy cooking techniques.
