Boise-based third-party management company Resolute Road Hospitality has been selected to manage a new ground-up dual-branded Marriott-branded development in partnership with TEKMAK Development.
The Sherman, Texas project will pair a 123-room SpringHill Suites and 108-room TownePlace Suites, offering a combined total of 231 guestrooms. While the two brands will remain separate, they will share amenities, including a bar, more than 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 1,750 square feet of pre-function space and other common areas, creating operational efficiencies while enhancing the overall guest experience.
“Sherman represents the type of growth market where we see long-term opportunity, supported by corporate investment and strong demand fundamentals,” said Daniel Pineiro, chief business development officer of Resolute Road Hospitality. “This project expands our growing presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, where we are already operating the DoubleTree by Hilton in Farmers Branch, and reflects our continued strategy of growing alongside ownership partners in markets where we can deliver operational excellence and create long-term asset value.
Sherman, Texas—also known as Silicon Prairie—is one of North Texas’s fastest-growing submarkets, and is in Sherman Crossroads, a master-planned mixed-use development with direct access to U.S. 75. Major corporate employers, including Texas Instruments, Coherent, GlobalWafers, Emerson, Tyson Foods and Progress Rail (a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar), are within a short drive.
The dual-branded property is currently under construction and anticipated to open in the summer of 2027.
