Remington Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company, announced the promotion of Ayotunde Gibbs to chief technology officer. Gibbs joined Remington in January 2026 as executive vice president of technology.
In her expanded role, Gibbs oversees all enterprise technology. Her mandate is to apply AI and integrated data to drive efficiency, improve decision-making, support scalable growth and deliver insight and long-term value to ownership groups.
“In her time with Remington, Ayotunde has brought strategic vision, enterprise systems expertise, and hands-on leadership to our technology strategy,” said Ben Perelmuter, chief executive officer of Remington Hospitality. “AI is reshaping how hotels are managed, and in this role, she will guide how we use AI and technology to responsibly modernize our platforms and support owners with data-driven, performance-focused solutions.”

Gibbs has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and digital transformation. Her work has focused on implementing systems and infrastructure that support growth, operations and organizational agility.
Before joining Remington, she served as vice president of enterprise systems and data at Dave & Buster’s Inc. In that role, she led large-scale initiatives across enterprise platforms, analytics and technology transformation.
Earlier in her career, Gibbs held multiple leadership roles at GameStop Inc. She advanced from senior development manager to director of technology program management. She oversaw complex technology portfolios and cross-functional delivery teams.
Gibbs serves on the advisory board of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and as secretary of the DFW chapter of the Society for Information Management. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Texas Tech University.
