Red Roof is expanding into Canada for the first time with a property in Vancouver, British Columbia, partnering with Richmond Airport Enterprises Ltd. to convert the Travelodge Hotel by Wyndham Vancouver Airport into the Red Roof PLUS+ Vancouver Airport.
The property is scheduled to open July 1, 2026, with presales now available ahead of this summer’s global soccer event.
The 160-room upscale economy property sits near Vancouver International Airport, Richmond Hospital and River Rock Casino Resort. The conversion includes a comprehensive capital renovation featuring a 24-hour business center, an upgraded 24-hour fitness facility, a hot tub, an indoor pool and on-site parking accommodating trucks, buses and motor coaches.

Guest rooms will include microwaves, mini-fridges, 65-inch cable TVs with 45 high-definition channels, in-room safes, free high-speed Wi-Fi and free local and long-distance calls within Canada.
