Pyramid Global merges with Axiom Hospitality to boost European presence

Pyramid Global Hospitality is expanding its reach of its European division, Hamilton Pyramid Europe, with Axiom Hospitality. The two hotel management firms have announced a strategic merger to create a hotel and resort management company to cater to the U.K. and Continental Europe regions.

The merger will add more than 30 properties to Pyramid’s European collection to form a total of over 48 hotels and more than 8,000 rooms and a pipeline of existing as well as new-build properties.

The two businesses will be integrated through early 2025 and helmed by Axiom’s Jamie Lamb and Alex Pritchard, supported by a team of integrated professionals from both organizations.

“In Jamie, Alex and the entire Axiom team, we see a management platform much like ourselves, with a shared sense of commitment to our owner clients and similar organizational ‘people first’ culture. We are confident that in the coming months and years the market will have the opportunity to experience our competence and professionalism.”

The merged platform will continue to enhance the companies’ focus on operational excellence and delivering results, Warren Fields, CEO of Pyramid Global Hospitality said in a release.

The merger benefits both companies and will enhance the suite of services being offered to hotel owners in the U.K. and Continental Europe, including sharing knowledge on best practices, brand relationships and access to more global expertise and proprietary tools.

“Alex and I are delighted for Axiom Hospitality to be joining the Pyramid Global family. We are excited by this merger and look forward to intensifying our commitment to delivering top-tier management solutions to the industry’s leading hotel owners,” said Lamb. “As we look across both organizations, we see a combined business with a commitment to listen, enhance performance and deliver results like no one else can in the white label hotel management space.”

Axiom’s portfolio comprises 30 operating hotels totaling more than 5,000 keys and other properties under development.
