Preferred web interface allows travelers to curate choices

Preferred Hotels & Resorts on Wednesday introduced a new web interface that allows travelers to choose their own adventure. This new search option comes as an integral part of Preferred’s comprehensive rebranding strategy, which launched in early March, that focuses on how to best meet modern travelers’ desires and interests.

Hotels within Preferred’s portfolio can now be selected by travelers’ preferences through a clickable menu which presents a series of options such as a hotel’s settings (beach, lake, mountain, city), amenities, interests (culinary, honeymoon, LGBT-friendly), style (tranquil, hip, stately, eco-friendly), family-friendly offerings (baby-sitting, kids club, spacious connecting rooms/suites), and activities (winter sports, hiking, cooking classes, horseback riding). The feature allows travelers to precisely hone in on a hotel that suits their needs and interests and provides the type of travel experience they seek.

Travel adventures offered through Preferred Hotels & Resorts portfolio include: the adventurer; chic, cosmopolitan experience; get away from it all; the “bleisure” traveler mixing work with play; and jet-set families.

For example, with jet-set families, Preferred offers curated services for travelers of all ages through its Preferred Family program. Families with young tots in tow can select a hotel that offers cribs, baby-sitting and playgrounds, while those with more independent children can opt for a hotel that features a dedicated kids club, crafts and a family-friendly pool. Parents can hone in on the age group, activities and amenities offered.
