PHUKET, THAILAND Formerly known as Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort, the property has rebranded itself as Serenity Resort & Residences, replacing its Outrigger affiliation with Preferred Hotel Group.
Outrigger Enterprises Group launched the property in April 2009, but the resort has decided to go independent.
“We decided to brand the resort and market it by ourselves, as we thought that this would suit the concept of the resort better,” General Manager Urs Aebi tells PhuketIndex.com. Few changes will be made operationally, Aebi says, but he says the resort will be more welcoming to locals with more public events sponsored by its East 88 beach club.
The 41-key property has been removed from Outrigger website.
