SBE appointed a global senior vice president of sales and marketing, and Pacific Hospitality Group appointed a president and chief operating officer. Meanwhile, The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada and JW Marriott Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee both bolstered their culinary teams. Here is this week’s lineup of hospitality professionals making career moves.

Tiffany Abercrombie became spa manager of Sense, A Rosewood Spa of Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas. She had been director of salon and spa at Mokara Salon and Spa, part of the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Irving, Texas.
Kolter Hospitality hired John Beaton as senior vice president of operations. Beaton most recently was senior vice president of operations at Interstate Hotels and Resorts.
Anne Benichou joined Oetker Collection’s marketing and communications division as head of global communications. Benichou previously worked in journalism for Condé Nast titles before spending time at the Ritz in Paris, France where she played a key role in the hotel’s 2016 re-opening communications strategy.
Navis named Kishore Bhattacharjee vice president of engineering. Prior to joining the company, Bhattacharjee was chief technical advisor at WelVU and director of engineering at both Cambia Health Solutions and Zoom+ Technology.
JW Marriott Nashville, a Turnberrry-owned hotel opening this summer in Nashville, Tennessee, named Simon Bowker executive chef, John Ford executive sous chef and Romain Fournel executive pastry chef. Prior to joining JW Marriott Nashville, Bowker was the executive sous chef at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida, Ford was chef de cuisine at The Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida and Fournel spent almost a decade at Jean Philippe Patisserie in Las Vegas where he was the assistant executive pastry chef.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach named Kevin Bryant executive director of sales at the 1,504-room Miami Beach, Florida hotel. After holding the position of director of sales and revenue management at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Bryant served as corporate director of revenue management at Fontainebleau’s parent company, Turnberry Associates.
The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada welcomed Geoff Carkner as executive chef, David Vo as manager of H Tasting Lounge and Angelika Viehhauser as manager of H2 Rotisserie & Bar. Carkner departed Vancouver’s Pan Pacific Hotel to take his new position. Vo was the pre-opening restaurant manager at Honey Salt at JW Marriott Parq and Viehhauser also served as general manager at Honey Salt.
The Palace Hotel in San Francisco named Clif Clark general manager. Clark comes to the property from the Marriott San Francisco Airport Waterfront in Burlingame, California.
Tara Cline joined Kimpton’s Amara Resort and Spa in Sedona, Arizona as general manager. Cline was previously at Enchantment Resort in Sedona where she spent more than 25 years gaining knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, sales and marketing, eventually serving as director of rooms.
Benchmark appointed Stephen Cullen area general manager for the Copley Square Hotel and the Ames Boston Hotel, a member of the Curio Collection by Hilton, both in Boston. Cullen was promoted from his previous position as general manager for the Copley Square Hotel.
McKibbon Hospitality appointed Roy Darling executive chef for the AC Hotel Charlotte City Center, opening in Charlotte, North Carolina in July. Darling, who will also be in charge of the hotel’s Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo bar and restaurant, joined the property from Westin Hotels & Resorts where he was executive chef for The Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston.
Alexa Delgado became head bartender at Lightkeepers at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami. The Miami native formerly served as food and beverage supervisor of Rumbar at the property.
Four Seasons UK Collection named Caroline Drayton director of communications. Drayton was head of marketing and communications at Marcus Wareing Restaurants.
First Hospitality Group hired David Duncan as president. Previously, Duncan served as chief financial officer of coastal resort and golf properties in Southern California at JC Resorts in La Jolla, California.
Atlanta-based Hotel Equities appointed two regional directors of sales, Polly Ann Elliott and Kristen Vasquez. Elliott joined the company in 2017 as the area director of sales for a portfolio of hotels in Charleston, South Carolina. Vasquez has more than a decade of above-property sales experience and will be based in Houston.
Benchmark named Jarrad Evans senior vice president, business development and strategy. Evans had been the firm’s vice president of business development and strategy.
Tanisha Gilliam was promoted to sales coordinator for the Residence Inn Washington Capitol Hill Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. from her previous position as guest service agent. Gilliam began her career with Stonebridge Companies as part of the property’s opening team.
The Estate Yountville in Yountville, California named Elizabeth Grillos area director of sales and marketing. Grillos departed her previous role as vice president of marketing for Noble House Hotels and Resorts.
Trinity Investments announced that Steve Haggerty joined the firm’s executive leadership team. Haggerty most recently was the global head of capital strategy, franchising and select service at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Calistoga Ranch and Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection properties in Calistoga, California, appointed Jay Heidenreich area director of sales and marketing. Before joining Auberge Resorts Collection, Heidenreich was director of sales and marketing at The Park Central San Francisco.
W San Francisco appointed Frederic Hoffmann executive chef, overseeing the San Francisco hotel’s entire culinary operations and menu development. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Hoffman has two decades of experience working at fine dining restaurants worldwide.
Rachel Levy joined The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida as director of national accounts, responsible for handling large corporate accounts in the Northeast market. She joined the company from Chicago where she was complex senior sales manager at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago.
Pacific Hospitality Group appointed Paul J. McCormick president and chief operating officer. Before joining the company, McCormick was senior vice president of Miraval Group where he provided operational oversight of the company’s destination wellness resorts and spas, and helped transition the group’s assets to Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Andaz Savannah in Savannah, Georgia appointed Sarah Menard director of sales and marketing. Menard spent 19 years at Hyatt Regency Savannah where she held many roles, most recently that of e-commerce, marketing and business travel sales manager.
The Ritz-Carlton New York, Westchester announced Greg Mendoza as general manager of the White Plains, New York property. He had been general manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park in New York City.
Benchmark named Lynval Miller director of human resources for The Heldrich in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Miller had been director of human resources for the Westminster Hotel of Livingston, New Jersey, while simultaneously serving as regional director of human resources for properties in New York City and Atlanta.
W San Francisco in San Francisco’s SoMa district appointed Mgeni Mpolo director of sales and marketing. Mpolo joined the property from The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco as the previous director of sales.
Creative design firm The McBride Company named Kristina Odell architectural designer, and Colin Bright creative signage and graphics designer. Odell had been a senior associate at Degen & Degen, working on boutique hotels and multi-family projects while Bright came to the company after five years creating brands and packaging for breweries.
Joel Paige became managing director of the Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Leesburg, Virginia. Paige has more than 20 years’ experience as managing director of resorts, most recently at PGA National Resort and Spa, and Doral Golf Resort and Spa in West Palm Beach and Doral, Florida, respectively.
Pacific Hospitality Group appointed Paul Rice vice president of investments and Tom Walston as corporate director of information technology and business intelligence. Rice came from Wells Fargo Securities in Houston where he was vice president in the energy and power investment banking division. Walston was group director of information technology for Miraval Resorts.
Serge Rigodin became cluster general manager of Hotel G Yangon and Inya Lake Hotel, both in Yangon, Myanmar. The French native has managed a number of other GCP Hospitality properties, most recently Hotel G Singapore.
Visit Dana Point, the destination marketing organization for Dana Point, California, appointed Quentin Roberts director of sales. Roberts had been director of sales for The Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.
Cambria New Orleans in the downtown Warehouse District of New Orleans named Gabe M. Roth director of food and beverage. Prior to joining Cambria New Orleans, Roth was the catering and convention services manager at the Hilton St. Charles Avenue, also in New Orleans.
The St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio welcomed Thomas Stone as food and beverage director. Stone formerly was general manager for the Four Seasons Resort Oahu’s restaurant, Fish House, in Kapolei, Hawaii.
Opening this summer in Denver, The Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop appointed Ann Sutherland Lynch director of sales and marketing. She most recently was corporate director of sales and marketing at Timbers Resorts.
Innside by Meliá New York appointed Randy Taormina managing director of the New York City hotel. Taormina had been area managing director for Dream Hotel Group where he oversaw Dream Downtown and Dream Midtown in New York City.
Christopher Texeira was named executive chef of Nobu Lanai at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Lanai City, Hawaii. Texeira brings more than 15 years of culinary experience and previously worked in the kitchens at Nobu Waikiki in Honolulu before heading to Lanai to open the resort’s restaurant in 2012.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach in Honolulu named Farrah Truong director of revenue management. Truong joins the resort from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii where she started her career as a management trainee before working her way up to become director of revenue management for the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa in Honolulu.
SBE appointed Alvaro Valeriani global senior vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining SBE, Valeriani was responsible for the sales and marketing operation of full-service Hyatt hotels and resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego announced Brandon Walton director of sales and marketing. He had been director of sales at the same property.
Dorsett Hospitality International promoted Noor Yusof Sanusi to hotel manager of Silka Johor Bahru in Johor, Malaysia. He formerly served as director of operations at Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
