Peachtree Group has announced Jenelle Zadik‘s appointment as people and culture vice president for supporting Peachtree Hospitality Management (PHM). Zadik will be responsible for PHM’s human capital efforts, including talent acquisition, total rewards, workforce planning, development, retention and advancing the organization’s commitment to inclusion and diversity initiatives. She will report to Melissa Ross Smith, Peachtree’s COO.

Before joining Peachtree, Zadik was the head of the community liaison office for the U.S. Consulate General in Nigeria. Prior experiences include human resources, learning & development and operations leadership positions.
McKibbon Hospitality recently added Rafael Ibarcena as corporate sustainability manager, a newly created position, to oversee the company’s environmental footprint and sustainability efforts. Ibarcena is now responsible for leading the strategy to reduce McKibbon’s environmental footprint and create the first Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance and effective management of environmental risks while promoting sustainable practices across the company’s portfolio.
Signia by Hilton San Jose, a 541-room property in San Jose, CA, has announced three additions to its leadership team:
- With more than 35 years of leadership experience, Mark Ive joins the property as general manager. Ive’s former roles include hotel manager of the Hilton Toronto, general manager of the Renaissance Toronto and most recently general manager of Hilton Oakland Airport.
- Joe Alegre is the new director of sales and marketing. Alegre brings an extensive sales background and expertise across the West Coast region with more than 30 years of experience. Alegre has worked with many brands including Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, Autograph Collection and several independent hospitality groups.
- Diana Haven is the property’s new director of marketing. Founder of Ellipses Public Relations and the former director of public relations for The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, Haven brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, event production and broadcast media.
Pacifica Hotels, the owner and operator of over 40 brand and boutique hotels on the Pacific Coast, has announced a roundup of new hires and promotions:
- Jeffrey Michael has been promoted to senior vice president commercial strategy. Michael was most recently the vice president of revenue strategy at Pacifica Hotels. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience across the hospitality industry and has held various positions at Pacifica Hotels including corporate director revenue management, general manager at Hilton Garden Inn PGA Village, general manager at Best Western Lighthouse Hotel and general manager at Quality Inn and Suites in Hermosa Beach, CA.
- Julie Aschidamini has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Aschidamini was most recently the director of marketing at Pacifica Hotels. She has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has held various positions at Sand Cloud, L.E. Hotels, Luxe Hotels, Santa Catalina Island Company and Terranea Resort.
- Walter De Leon has been hired as director of housekeeping at Pacifica Hotels’ King Kamehameha Beach Resort in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Before his new role, he was housekeeping operations manager at Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas.
- Marc Ebuen has been hired as assistant general manager at The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. He brings more than 10 years of experience working for premium hotel chains including, Windsor Hospitality, The Westin Arlington Gateway, Delta Hotel Philadelphia, Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington DC, The Westin Reston Heights, and Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel. Ebuen was most recently Director of Operations, Taskforce at Windsor.
Rona Kay has been named vice president of operations for Santa Ana, Calif.-based Carter Hospitality Group. Kay was most recently the general manager for Canyon Ranch’s Woodside Retreat, leading all business and operational components for the company’s San Francisco destination. For 24 years, she worked for Disney, holding multiple leadership roles in the multinational company’s entertainment, hospitality, guest services, attractions, food and beverage and hospitality divisions, including 14 years as a general manager in the hospitality division at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Additionally, she worked as the general manager of guest experience at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and launched her career with Sizzler International, a national restaurant chain, where she served in various operational, regional training and corporate compliance roles.
