CORINTHIA GROUP ANNOUNCES TWO EXEC. APPOINTMENTS
International Hotel Investments plc, trading as the Corinthia Group, and owners, developers and operators of Corinthia Hotels and real estate, has promoted Simon Naudi to group CEO and managing director and Simon P. Casson as CEO of the group’s operating arm Corinthia Hotels Ltd (CHL).
Naudi joined the Corinthia Group in a senior executive role in 1997 and most recently served for 12 years as CEO of CHL. During that time, he was responsible for hotel and real estate acquisitions and development as well as the expansion of CHL’s hotel operations in major cities, including London, Brussels, New York and Rome. In his new role, Naudi, who has also been nominated as a board member of Corinthia’s parent company, IHI, will focus on corporate, investment, ownership, financial and development matters while continuing to oversee all Corinthia’s companies.
Casson served for over three decades at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and, in his previous role, was responsible for 42 hotels in 26 countries. Additionally, Carson oversaw the opening of new properties in London, Athens, Madrid, Casablanca, Taormina, Doha, Kuwait and Seychelles.

NEW REGIONAL VP AT KONA VILLAGE, A ROSEWOOD RESORT
Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort has appointed Daniel Scott as regional vice president and managing director. A Rosewood Hotels & Resorts veteran of two decades, Scott joins Kona Village from Mexico’s Rosewood Mayakoba. In addition to overseeing daily operations at Kona Village, Scott continues his current role as regional vice president, with operational oversight of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, Rosewood Washington, D.C., and Rosewood Baha Mar.
Scott joined the company in 2003, and his tenure with the brand has included leadership positions across several properties within the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, including Rosewood Sand Hill and Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort.

Lotte New York Palace has appointed Uwe Kunz as general manager.
With a 31-year hospitality career, Kunz has held various positions in food & beverage, front office, operations and, most notably, as a general manager since 2011. Among his notable roles, he served as opening general manager for Lotte Hotel St. Petersburg in 2017 and as general manager at Lotte Hotel Moscow in 2021.
Mandarin Oriental, Singapore has appointed Jill Goh as general manager.
Goh is no stranger to the Mandarin Oriental brand, as she has held several positions in the company. She previously served as resident manager in Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, before moving on to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Goh transferred to Mandarin Oriental, Macau, as the property’s general manager before her most recent appointment as general manager of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
Thompson Seattle has appointed Sonja Chase as general manager.
Before joining Thompson Seattle, Chase served as hotel manager for Thompson Austin and tommie Austin. Before that, she was the director of rooms, engineering and spa at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Southern California. For over a decade, Chase has held many leadership roles across rooms, food & beverage and engineering operations under Hyatt, including in Austin, Palm Springs, San Diego and Denver.
AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach has appointed Scott Roberts as general manager.
Roberts joins the AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach team with an extensive background in hotel operations. He started as an assistant general manager at Courtyard Marriott in Boca Raton and later became general manager for several Marriott properties, such as the Residence Inn by Marriott in Boca Raton, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in Delray Beach and Courtyard by Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, among others.
