ASPEN HOSPITALITY, EXTREME HOSPITALITY NAME NEW CEOs
Aspen One, the parent company of Aspen Hospitality, Aspen Skiing Company and Aspen Ventures, has appointed Jeff Toscano as chief executive officer of Aspen Hospitality. Bringing three decades of experience in the luxury lifestyle market, Toscano has worked with hotel management teams, ownership groups and developers to innovate and execute unique premium hotel concepts and experiences. Most recently, he served as EVP of luxury and lifestyle hotels at Highgate.
Toscano has also held executive roles at Hyatt Hotels, Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Two Roads Hospitality, Denihan Hospitality Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Extreme Hospitality, the provider of hotel management and consulting services, has welcomed John A. Rubino as chief executive officer. Rubino will help expand the company’s service offerings, strengthen client relationships and boost growth in new markets.
Throughout his career, Rubino has managed a portfolio valued at more than $6.8 billion, consisting more than 300 branded and independent hotels in the U.S.
EXECUTIVE CHANGES AT UP NORWAY
Up Norway, the luxury travel curator, has appointed Karoline Hoff as managing director. At the helm since the company’s inception, founder Torunn Tronsvang will transition to chief experience officer.
Hoff has served leadership roles in strategy and business development, marketing and customer experience. Most recently, she served as director of strategy and business development at Møller Mobility Group. Prior to that, she was in the same field at WiMP MUSIC (now Tidal) and Orkla ASA.
Tronsvang founded Up Norway in 2016 and has since been instrumental in the company’s growth. Her new role enables her to focus on her passion for destination and experience development, continuing to shape Up Norway’s offerings and work with local experience providers and partners.
CENDYN APPOINTS CFO
Cendyn, the integrated hotel technology and services company, has named Jeffrey A. Cross as chief financial officer. Cross brings nearly 40 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations. He spent the last 15 years in private equity-backed companies, including Uptempo, Arena Solutions, TravelClick and Abila.
Cross will play an integral role in steering the financial strategy and operations of Cendyn. He will oversee financial planning, risk management and reporting to ensure the company’s financial health by managing budgets, predicting future financial performance and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Peachtree Group has promoted Steve Mackenzie to executive vice president of hotel operations in the hospitality management division. In his expanded role, he will assume a central role and lead Peachtree’s hotel portfolio financial performance while ensuring franchise procedures, regulations and standards are adhered to.
With 25 years of experience in hospitality, Mackenzie most recently served as area director for Hilton Worldwide. He has also held industry operational roles, including vice president of operations with Harris Hotel Group and area general manager with Greenpark Management.
The Diplomat Beach Resort has revamped its leadership team that collectively brings together 100 years of experience in hospitality. The members of the team include:

Pier House Resort & Spa and Pier House Resort & Spa and La Concha Key West have named Lee Rekas as the area director of sales and marketing for Remington Hospitality. Rekas’ previous experience includes years of leadership roles at Highgate Hotels.

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park has welcomed Beth Ardron as director of sales and marketing manager. The net zero carbon hotel is currently under construction.
Ardron joins from Klarent Hospitality, where she was the cluster director of sales for Mercure at the Mercure Exeter Rougemont and the Mercure Exeter Southgate. Her previous experience includes sales manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton London – Chelsea and sales and marketing manager at Dunalastair Hotel Suites in Kinloch Rannoch, Pitlochry.
NEW GMs
The Publisher Hotel in Fredericksburg, Va. has named Greg Monjure as general manager. He will be in charge of daily operations and establishing the 98-key hotel as a premier destination.
Prior to his new position, Monjure held leadership roles in the U.S., including as director of food and beverage at Hilton DC National Mall, The Wharf in Washington, D.C., director of operations at Potomac Point Winery & Le Grand Cru Bistro in Stafford, Va. and as the general manager at Hawthorn Grill Restaurant at the JW Marriott Resort & Rampart Casino.
Gregg Fracassa has joined Viewline Resort Snowmass, an Autograph Collection Hotel as general manager. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the resort, where he will helm daily operations and lead the strategic implementation of key business initiatives, as well as upcoming operational updates.
Prior to his new role, Fracassa held general manager roles at Snow King Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and Hotel Viking in Newport, R.I. He held managing director roles with Noble House Hotels & Resorts and served as director of operations at Paradise Point Resort & Spa in San Diego.
Evans Hotels, the San Diego-based hospitality company comprising the Bahia Resort Hotel, Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa and The Lodge at Torrey Pines, has welcomed Stefan Peroutka as general manager of the Bahia Resort. He replaces Jayne Aston, who has been promoted to general manager of the Catamaran Resort.
Most recently, he worked for the Hotel del Coronado, where for the past eight years he led the culinary department as executive chef. Prior to that, he directed banquet culinary operations at The Venetian in Las Vegas.
