People on the Move: Accor Pacific, Rosewood Hotel Group, Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, KSL Resorts

PROMOTIONS AT ACCOR PACIFIC 

Accor Pacific has announced new executive team members to lead the company’s expansion and presence in Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and Fiji. This is the latest shakeup from Accor following announcements to provide dedicated resources and focus for its two divisions: “Premium, Midscale & Economy Division” and “Luxury & Lifestyle Division.” 

  • Anne Gill assumes the role of senior vice president commercial, premium, midscale and economy. Gill joined Accor in 2019 and has held the role of vice president sales, connecting partners in the Pacific region for the past three-and-a-half years.  
  • Steven Lake has been promoted to senior vice president finance, premium, midscale and economy. 
  • Angela Howard has assumed the role of senior vice president talent & culture, premium, midscale & economy. Howard joins Accor with over 20 years of experience providing strategic direction and operational effectiveness of Human Resource practices. 
  • Claire Haigh has been promoted to vice president communications, premium, midscale and economy. Haigh joined Accor three years ago as director of communications.

ROSEWOOD HOTEL GROUP’S NEW EXECUTIVE TEAM 

Rosewood Hotel Group has welcomed new associates and current leaders to its executive team:

  • Lucy Werner has been promoted from senior vice president of commercial to chief commercial officer.  
  • Mehvesh Mumtaz Ahmed joined Rosewood Hotel Group just over a year ago as head of social impact and will advance to the role of vice president of social impact.  
  • Agnes Park, who joined the group in 2017, has been promoted to senior vice president and general counsel. Park will be responsible for overall leadership of the company’s general legal, data privacy and compliance responsibilities with a global perspective. 

MORE MOVES 

The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, has appointed Olivier Lau as general manager. Lau brings nearly two decades of hospitality expertise to his new position; he will also be responsible for The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown, Washington, D.C., with shared Guidance Team members assisting both properties.  

Ian Pullan has been promoted to senior vice president of asset management west at KSL Resorts. Pullan will continue to focus on operations in KSL Resorts’ expanding West Coast portfolio in his new position. Previously, he served as the company’s vice president of asset management west and as the vice president/general manager of Monarch Beach Resort during his eight-year tenure with KSL Resorts.  

Simon Pettigrew has been appointed managing director of JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. Pettigrew has over 35 years of experience and is a native of England. He relocated to the United States and joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in several Food & Beverage and Resort leadership roles in Philadelphia, Dallas, Hawaii, San Diego, Los Angeles and New York, and as General Manager in Miami and Vancouver.
