Here is a roundup of people recently on the move:

Katie Allen was named complex director of sales at Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center and The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center.

Hotel Irvine in California named Heidi Bergos director of sales and marketing. Most recently, Bergos was director of sales and marketing for Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa.

L.E. Hotels appointed Melissa Brown director of sales for North America.

Jim Biggar was named president of Sixty Hotels’ brand of properties in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. Biggar will oversee the day-to day operations together with the revenue and financial growth of Sixty Hotels, and will lead the company into the next phase of its expansion as the brand opens Nautilus in Miami and Sixty Montreal.

Montage Hotels & Resorts appointed Kacey Bruno corporate director of communications.

Paul Burke was promoted to president and managing director of Atlantis, Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas. Previously, Burke was chief operating officer at the resort.

Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center in Virginia appointed Anthony Cavallo general manager and Dan Dienemann chef de cuisine at Barrel & Bushel. The restaurant and bar is expected to open later in 2015.

Omni Dallas Hotel promoted Donald Chalko to executive chef and Jason Weaver to director of food and beverage.

Kerzner International Holdings Limited named Ian Connolly chief development officer and Paul Macpherson executive vice president of global business and real estate development.

Tom Curley was named general manager of The Westin Denver International Airport. Curley will continue to serve as area managing director for Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Colorado overseeing Westin, Sheraton and St. Regis brand hotels. Curley also is a board member for Visit Denver and the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association.

Sylvain Desbois was named executive chef at the St. Regis Mexico City.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel appointed Michael Duve group sales account director.  

Mehdi Eftekari was named general manager of Four Seasons Hotel New York. Previously Eftekari was general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles.

Marriott International named Marc Graser editorial director of the company’s Creative and Content Studio. Previously, Graser was senior editor at Variety.

Lukus Grace was named director of food and beverage at the St. Regis Atlanta.

Andrew Hobbs was promoted to general manager of Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island. Previously, Hobbs was the assistant general manager and sales manager for the hotel.

Arif Kor was named hotel manager of Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta. Most recently, Kor was director of operations at the Sydney Harbour Marriott in Australia.

Caleb Lara was appointed executive chef at Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown, Massachusetts. Most recently, Lara was the chef de cuisine at the Chatham Bars Inn.

Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina named Lynne Lulfs director of sales and marketing. Most recently, Lulfs held was regional director of catering and special events for six national restaurants the Rosa Mexicano brand. 

Hilton Worldwide appointed J. Peter Lynn area general manager for San Diego. Most recently, Lynn was general manager of Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

Jarnetta Manna was named director of operations at the Axiom Hotel in San Francisco. The hotel will open later in 2015.

Hotel Gotham appointed Dulce Marques operations manager, Matt Miller sales manager and Matthew Taylor head chef.

Larry McAfee was appointed general manager of The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Most recently, McAfee served was general manager of the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas.

Bobbie Miller was named food and beverage director/executive chef at The Westin Arlington Gateway in Virginia.

Stefan Mirevski was appointed general manager of Embassy Suites Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. Most recently, Mirevski was director of operations at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

Hallmark Gloucester Hotel named Sid Sagar head chef.

Christopher Shiel was appointed director of sales and marketing at Smyth, a Thompson Hotel in New York. Previously, Shiel was director of sales at Denihan Hospitality Group.

Spencer Strickler was appointed general manager at SpringHill Suites Peoria in Westlake, Illinois. Most recently, Strickler was general manager at Candlewood Suites in Peoria, Illinois.

Marie Surls was appointed general manager at Embassy Suites San Antonio – International Airport. Most recently, Surls was area director of sales at the hotel.

Adam Sydenham was named general manager at the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Previously, Sydenham was director of rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel in Moscow.

The Mountain Lodge Telluride in Colorado named Bud Thomas director of food and beverage.
