Park Hyatt Mexico City sets opening date

The 155-room Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco will begin welcoming its first guests in spring 2027.

“Mexico City is a city of global tastemakers, where each corner reflects a distinctive blend of innovation, heritage and design – from world-class cultural institutions and expansive green spaces to exceptional dining and a thriving design scene,” said Christophe Hilty, GM of Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco. “There is no better time to introduce Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco, a distinguished new presence in hospitality that offers a thoughtful interpretation of Mexico’s cultural richness for locals, first-time visitors, and a new generation of global travelers.”

The hotel, which overlooks Chapultepec Park, rises 30 stories above Campos ElĂseos and includes 155 guestrooms and 38 suites, including a Two-Bedroom Presidential Suite. The property offers more than 8,500 square feet of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom and an open-air terrace. Amenities include a rooftop pool and Tezca Spa. The hotel’s interiors were designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos and feature a collection of Mexican artwork curated by Arte Abierto, including works by Damián Ortega and Michelle Aubert.

The project also includes Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco Residences, located from the 19th floor upward, comprising 27 private residences across six residential typologies.

“The hotels that stay with you are always rooted in their destination. Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco reflects the energy, creativity and cultural confidence of one of the world’s great cities, through thoughtful design, an outstanding culinary programme, remarkable art and a team that has shaped every part of the guest experience with real care,” said Tamara Lohan, Global Brand Leader of Luxury, Hyatt. “Its opening is another important step for the Park Hyatt brand in Mexico. Together with Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and the upcoming Park Hyatt Riviera Maya, we’re offering modern travelers three distinct expressions of the brand, each deeply connected to its destination while sharing the same commitment to thoughtful design, exceptional service and experiences that feel authentic to where you are.”

The hotel will offer four dining venues, including a specialty restaurant and an all-day dining venue.
