Oberoi Hotels & Resorts unveiled details of The Oberoi Sukoonvilas, Wadi Safar, an intimate luxury resort under development in Wadi Safar, Saudi Arabia. The resort is scheduled to welcome guests in the first quarter of 2027 and will be the first hotel to open in Wadi Safar.
The resort will sit atop a 70-metre escarpment and spread across more than 37 acres. It will have 60 standalone villas and 10 branded residences. Aedas designed the resort and Blink designed the interiors. Its architecture is inspired by Najdi architecture.
Dining will include contemporary Indian dining at Yatra, curated by Michelin-starred chef Rohit Ghai; artisanal pastries and café culture at Linnet, led by pastry chef Lily Vanilli; international cuisine at Beyla; and poolside dining overlooking the escarpment.
The resort’s ASMI by Oberoi wellness program will offer signature wellness journeys, hammams, indoor wellness pools, fitness facilities and a 65-metre infinity pool overlooking Wadi Safar.
