Northview Hotel Group and Five Mile Capital Partners announced on Thursday the acquisition of 88-room The Sanderling Resort & Spa from Turnpike Properties.
The Sanderling, located in Duck, North Carolina, will continue to operate as an independent luxury resort under NVHG Management, Northview Hotel Group’s management arm.
The acquisition of The Sanderling Resort & Spa marks the Northview’s fifth independent destination resort acquisition. Northview plans to upgrade the resort’s amenity package, with the improvements scheduled to be completed during the upcoming winter season.
“We are thrilled to add The Sanderling Resort & Spa to our independent resort portfolio. The acquisition fits well within Northview’s core growth strategy,” said Matt Trevenen, Northview’s senior vice president.
Northview Hotel Group is based in Westport, Connecticut.
