Noble House Hotels & Resorts announced on Tuesday that it bought the remaining stake of the Riviera Palm Springs resort, located in Palm Springs, California.

Noble House also announced that it plans for multi-million dollar refreshment of iconic Riviera Palm Springs resort, although it reportedly already spent US$70 million renovating the property in 2008 when it assumed management of the resort. The resort was once frequented by famous singer Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Kirkland, Washington, said that the resort has continued to see a steady increase in revenues and average daily spends since 2008.

“With full ownership of the Riviera, Noble House Hotels & Resorts will be able to take an already thriving product to the next level,” says Mike Benecke, Noble House president and CFO.

Enhancements to the resort will take place throughout 2012, with an anticipated completion date in late fall. Refreshments include expanding the current Deep End pool and the addition of third pool catering, an increase of 3,000 sq ft (278 sq m) meetings and conference space, an update to existing tennis facilities to include basketball and paddleboard courts and numerous additional upgrades throughout guest rooms and all public areas.
