Wyndham to enter Costa Rica: Wyndham Hotel Group announced the signing of a franchise agreement for the first resort in Costa Rica to fly the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand flag, the Wyndham Papagayo Yu Resort in Guanacaste. The 151-room property, owned by ASECCSS, is scheduled to open by the end of 2015.

Summit names new CFO: Summit Hotel Properties appointed Greg Dowell executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer effective October 1. Dowell will succeed Paul Ruiz, who has served as interim CFO since May.

Intrawest completes Blue Mountain Ski Resort acquisition: Intrawest Resorts Holdings has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the 50% interest in Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Ontario, Canada, that it does not already own from Blue Mountain Resorts Holdings Inc. for C$58 million (US$52 million).

Waldorf Astoria to expand in Bali: Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts signed a management agreement with PT. Sharandy Land for a third Waldorf Astoria property in Indonesia. The 100-key Waldorf Astoria Bali, Ubud is scheduled to open in 2018.
