Renaissance flagship in Midtown: Marriott announced that the Renaissance Hotel Midtown New York will open this spring. The 348-room new-build in the Garment District is described as the city’s first “digitally enhanced hotel” using the brand’s global design philosophy.
Cambria in Maryland: Choice Hotels International signed an agreement to develop a Cambria hotel at Arundel Mills in Hanover, Maryland. The 119-room property is slated to open in June 2017.
HHM to manage Residence Inn: HHM acquired and will assume management of the Residence Inn Philadelphia Conshohocken, a 137-room hotel. HHM, formerly Hersha Hospitality Management, operates 115 hotels in the US, including 30 Marriott-branded properties.
