Radisson Blu to expand in Netherlands:  Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group signed a management agreement for the 120-room Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Noordwijk aan Zee. The property will open in February 2014.

Cambria Suites to expand in North Carolina:  Choice Hotels International signed a franchise agreement with FIRC Group to develop a new Cambria Suites in Asheville. The 141-room property is expected to open in 2015.

Hyatt Place to expand in Pennsylvania:  Meadows Hotel Associates acquired land adjacent to The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, located in Washington, for a 155-room Hyatt Place hotel. Construction is expected to begin before the end of the year.

Singh lawsuit begins in the UK court:  The case between former head of Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotels group Bal Singh and his eldest son, Jasminder, commenced on Tuesday. The elder Singh said that his son, who is the current head of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotels group, violated Sikh tradition by excluding him from the business.

Ritz-Carlton to expand in China:  The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. signed a management agreement with Nanjing New Universe Real Estate Development for a 297-room hotel in Nanjing. The property is expected to open in the first quarter of 2015.

BC LYND, CrossHarbor Capital Partners buy 6 Marriotts:  BC LYND Hospitality and CrossHarbor Capital Partners formed a joint acquisition for six Marriott-branded properties in Midwest and Southwest U.S. The purchase price was undisclosed.
