Ovolo to add 2 hotels in Hong Kong: Ovolo Group announced that it will open a 162-room hotel via warehouse conversion on 64 Wong Chuk Hang Road and a 85-room hotel on 100 Shek Pai Wan Road this year.
Hard Rock expands in California: Hard Rock International announced that it will convert the 162-room Hotel Zoso, located in Palm Springs, to the Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs to open this fall.

Wyndham’s adjusted income up in 2012: Wyndham Worldwide’s reported net income for full year 2012 was US$400 million compared with a net income of US$417 million for the prior-year period. However, adjusted net income for the full year 2012 was US$469 million compared with US$414 million in 2011, boosted by stronger operating results at the company’s lodging and vacation ownership businesses.

Jin Jiang expands in China: Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Co. announced on Wednesday that it signed a management contract with Jiangsu Kwin Real Estate Co. to open the 285-room Jin Jiang Joy Lake Hotel Jianhu in the third quarter of this year.
Hersha sells Rhode Island hotel stake: Hersha Hospitality Trust sold its 66.7% stake in the 92-room Courtyard Providence Warwick, located in Warwick, Rhode Island, for US$7.1 million.
