Ernst & Young take Hotel Verta:  Ernst & Young revealed on Tuesday that it had taken over administration of London’s Hotel Verta, a US$81 million (£50 million) luxury hotel that opened only in September. Hotel Verta is part of the struggling von Essen hotel group.

Hyatt replacing Kempinski:  Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski and the Serengeti Bilila Lodge Kempinski are both changing management, with the former becoming the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam – The Kilimanjaro.
