Internos buys 2 hotels in Germany:  Internos Global Investors bought the 166-room InterCityHotel Leipzig and the 328-room Maritim Hotel Dresden for approximately US$100 million.



Waldorf Astoria to enter Indonesia:  Hilton Worldwide announced that its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts brand is set to enter Indonesia after signing an agreement with PT Bali Ragawisata to open the 96-villa Waldorf Astoria Bali.

RIU to enter St. Martin:  RIU Hotels & Resorts purchased the 252-room Radisson Blu Resort Marina & Spa, St. Martin for US$45 million. RIU will rebrand the Riu Palace St. Martin.
