Hyatt to enter Sri Lanka: Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced that a Hyatt affiliate entered into a management agreement with Sinolanka Hotels and Spa Private Ltd to open the 475-room Hyatt Regency Colombo, which will include 84 serviced apartments.
Marriott to expand in China: Marriott International announced that it will open a 200-room Ritz-Carlton and 300-room Renaissance branded properties as part of a Mission Hills Group development in Haikou, China.

IHG launches Priority Club Rewards iPad app: The new app for the iPad promises easy-to-use functionality to find and book hotel rooms, check rates, manage reservations and view member details. IHG said hotels in its system are now generating more than US$20 million a month in revenue from mobile bookings.
