Hotel Indigo to enter Colorado: IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand announced the signing of its first hotel in the state of Colorado, the 180-room Hotel Indigo Denver, which is expected to open in winter 2016.

HEI adds Miami hotel: HEI Hotels & Resorts announced it has added The Royal Palm – Miami South Beach to its portfolio of managed hotels.

Gulf Hotels to manage Manama hotel: Gulf Hotels Group has signed a management agreement with ASDAL Hotel for the operation of a 4-star hotel in Manama, Bahrain’s Seef District. The hotel is currently under refurbishment and is expected to be opened in September.

Candlewood Suites to enter Mexico: IHG announced plans to bring the Candlewood Suites brand to Mexico with the signing of two new properties in the states of Guanajuato and Queretaro. Both new-build hotels are owned by OVQ Celaya S.A. de C.V. and managed by Diamond Lodging. They will have 100 suites each and are expected to open in 2016.

 


Marriott completes Delta acquisition: Marriott International announced it has completed the acquisition of the Delta Hotels and Resorts brand and management and franchise business from Delta Hotels Limited Partnership.
