News in brief: Delta, Fabege, TravelClick

Delta hotel in Montreal to close:  Delta Hotels and Resorts announced that InnVest REIT, owner of the 711-room Delta Centre-Ville, plans to close the property in October and cease hotel operations there.


Fabege to expand in Sweden:  Fabege has signed a 20-year lease with The Winery Hotel, which is jointly owned by Star Management AB and HKC Hotels AB, for a hotel to be located in Solna.

North America’s group outlook improves:  New data from TravelClick shows that for June 2013 to May 2014, overall committed occupancy is up 2.3% versus this time last year. ADR is up 3.4% based on reservations currently on the books.
