Aria announces expansion: Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas will complete a US$154 million project that will add 200,000 square feet (60,960 square meters) of meeting space, including indoor/open-air spaces and a glass-enclosed venue. With the completion of the expansion, ARIA will feature more than 500,000 square feet (152,400 square meters) of meeting space. Construction is set to begin in May 2016 with an anticipated completed in February 2018.

Linchris acquires historic hotel in Providence: Linchris Hotel Corp. acquired Hotel Providence in Rhode Island for an undisclosed amount. In January 2016, detailed plans for a new restaurant will be revealed with a grand opening planned for later in December. The hotel was originally built in 1882 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tetrarch plans Dublin hotels: Tetrarch Capital will invest €25 million (US$27.11 million) in a new 178-room hotel in central Dublin while it seeks planning permission to build a 160-bed hotel, also in central Dublin. Additionally, Tetrarch announced the creation of a new entity, Tetrarch Hospitality, to manage its portfolio of hotel and leisure assets.

JRA to get loan for hotel development: The Jackson Redevelopment Authority (JRA) will borrow US$9 million from an investment firm to fund a portion of the Westin hotel project in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. JRA received five proposals and selected Siebert Brandford Shank & Co.
