AccorHotels to sign in Iran: AccorHotels will open an ibis hotel and a Novotel near Tehran’s international airport in Iran on October 15. AccorHotels will become the first international hotel group to operate in Iran following the deal on its nuclear program.

IHG grows in Berlin: IHG will open its third Hotel Indigo in Berlin in 2017. The new-build Hotel Indigo Berlin City – East Side will be owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group and will operate under a franchise agreement with Tristar Hotel Group.

Marriott expands African footprint: Marriott International will open the 150-room Johannesburg Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch and 200-unit Marriott Executive Apartments Johannesburg Melrose Arch in South Africa. The properties will open by February 2018 and will be developed in partnership with The Amdec Group.

Dusit announces latest Oman project: Dusit International signed a management deal with Al Jarwani Group to open a new dusitD2 hotel in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The dusitD2 Palm Mall Muscat is scheduled for completed in 2017 and will include about 150 guestrooms and 100 suites.

McKibbon signs in Bonita Springs: McKibbon Hotel Management acquired two new management contracts in Bonita Springs, Florida, from Wheelock Street Capital. McKibbon will manage the Homewood Suites and the Hampton Inn in Bonita Springs.
