Arne Sorenson, the new CEO of Marriott International, Bethesda, Maryland, visited Brazil for the first time this week to visit four Marriott-branded properties and examine the Brazilian market, a key growth market for international hotel companies.
Marriott reported that Sorenson met with over 1,000 personnel at these four properties: the JW Marriott Rio de Janeiro, Marriott Executive Apartments São Paulo, The Renaissance São Paulo Hotel, and Marriott São Paulo Airport Hotel.
