New hotel group World of One launches with 22 members

World of One, a new hotel group that represents independent hotels and resorts, has launched, billing itself as a global platform that improves property visibility.

With an initial collection of 22 properties, World of One says it provides tools and resources to properties “to enhance their international visibility while maintaining full control of their booking process.”

World of One’s portfolio consists of boutique and luxury, classic-style properties in global destinations. It promises a “simple marketing and membership model,” focused on key elements to drive sales, such as brand affiliation, sales and marketing support, public relations assistance and a consumer loyalty program.

The idea of the hotel group stemmed from the desire to bring hotels together and provide them with an easy and affordable way to belong to “prestigious hotel group and stand out from the competition,” said Patrice Van Isacker, founder and owner of World of One.

Hodges Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua is part of the One Luxury brand under World of One.

All member hotels are required to participate in the One Loyalty Program, which extends benefits to guests regardless of their booking method. Some of the benefits include guaranteed upgrades and late checkouts (subject to availability) and additional perks at the discretion of individual hotels.

Properties joining World of One can choose from four brands:

  • One Luxury – Offering luxury experiences
  • One Boutique – Intimate, luxury stay options
  • One Unique – Hotels with unique designs and features
  • One Classic – Hotels which offer luxury experience while embracing tradition
