In response to consumers wanting gourmet food on-the-go, the world’s largest Marriott hotel, the Orlando World Center Marriott, has launched the Central Pantry.

Focusing on fast, fresh gourmet options, the new grab-and-go marketplace offers chef-crafted cuisine in a concept designed to serve a number of occasions under one roof.

The setting includes everything from freshly prepared local food — think bakery items, crisp salads, gourmet flatbreads — to protein shakes and smoothies, a variety of fresh-brewed coffee drinks, as well as spirits, wines and craft beers self-served on-tap by the glass or bottle.

The initiative was spearheaded by the hotel’s Executive Chef Eric Martinez.
